SCRIPT

AFTER THE BRAINSTORMING AND IDEAS I WENT AWAY AND WROTE THE OFFICIAL SCIPRT FOR OUR PRODUCTION.

STARTING TO DEVISE

In this lesson we brain-stormed and created all our characters and gave each other characteristics so we were able to write the script.

After that we looked at staging because at some moments the actors will be running through the audience and seating the children is important because depending where you are sitting can have a impact of what you are watching.

Chorus work

Chorus work can be used to tell a story and has a greater impact to the audience because when more then one person does one action it looks better and bigger. In a way it grabs people attention because it is non-realistic technique. It can increase the effectiveness of emotions.

Children Theatre Types

Children theatre can consist of:
singing
slapstick
fast paced
moderen reference
universal comedy
puppets
men performing as woman

All these things can create a great performance for children because they enjoy seeing things like this. society has shaped the mind of children. Main two are slapstick and men performing as woman because this is what you see on TV so for us to be able to pull the attention of children.
