STARTING TO DEVISE
In this lesson we brain-stormed and created all our characters and gave each other characteristics so we were able to write the script.
After that we looked at staging because at some moments the actors will be running through the audience and seating the children is important because depending where you are sitting can have a impact of what you are watching.
Chorus work
Chorus work can be used to tell a story and has a greater impact to the audience because when more then one person does one action it looks better and bigger. In a way it grabs people attention because it is non-realistic technique. It can increase the effectiveness of emotions.
Children Theatre Types
Children theatre can consist of:
singing
slapstick
fast paced
moderen reference

men performing as woman
All these things can create a great performance for children because they enjoy seeing things like this. society has shaped the mind of children. Main two are slapstick and men performing as woman because this is what you see on TV so for us to be able to pull the attention of children.

For us to be able to work with children we were taught children games.
Splat is a game which is very good for children. As it is a very good game to grab children's attention and prepare them for physical work. people do not relies but it also helps the the vocals and projection.
Jumping beans is a game that is good for memory and physicality. Autistic kids are also able to take part because the game is suitable for them too.
Numbers is a fantastic game that requires children to work together at a great length of concentration. It helps the brain warm up and gets you in the zone to focus. Patients is needed all the game will not work.
copycat is also a game that requires focus and is game that you play in pairs of two. As one person is copying the other means the person leading can take it any extent as they wish so it could even go to physical warm up route or it could be a calm warm up.

Theatre For Children
After researching all the age categories given to us and doing the research of all different types of theatre, I personally think doing theatre for children who are aged 6-8. I strongly think they will be a good audience because they are able to interact positively with performances.
I have a brother who is 7 years of age and he is a energetic child who likes to tells stories about his day so it would be great if we done little workshops with the youngsters and then they will be able to remember stuff. Also at this age they will be able to understand the jokes.
The problem with doing theatre for children who are aged 9-10 years of age they are going through that stage of puberty and possibly could be challenging. The script will also have to very specific for their age.
